People under the association known as Nyamalebe Landless Association accuse companies; Agilis Partners Limited and Kiryandongo Sugar Limited of colluding with the police and the office of the Resident District Commissioner to violently evict them and destroy their property worth millions.
The land commission chaired by Justice Catherine Bamugemereire had directed the victims to return to their land and a status quo to e maintained until investigations are conducted.
However, the police and other armed security working with the company have continued to destroy property, burning houses and violently evict bonafide occupants off their land.
